1. What is Korean Cravings?

Korean Cravings is a South Korean and Philippine-based online retail shop marketed towards Korean lovers, as we make Korean goods available to fans not just in Korea but worldwide.

2. How long have you been in the business?

We have been in the business since April 2010. We are registered in DTI under the name of Hits and Deviants from 2018 to 2023. DTI #: 05275731. From 2014 – 2019: Everything Pop Trading. DTI #: 03117192. You may read our history on the bottom area of our homepage.

3. Where are you located?

Korean Cravings is based in Seoul, Gimhae, South Korea, and Davao City, Philippines, but we ship nationwide and worldwide. We have two admins in Davao City and one admin in Seoul. Most of our clients are from Metro Manila, Davao City, Luzon, USA, and certain parts of Europe and Southeast Asia.

1. Are your products original?

Yes, all our products are original and are imported from Seoul, South Korea. All Japanese products are imported from Tokyo, Japan. For the fashion items, all of them are Korean brands.

2. Are all products made in Korea?

K-POP/K-Drama/Hallyu official items: Yes, all products are Korean version and made in Korea.

J-Pop and J-Rock Items: Japanese version cds are imported from Tokyo, Japan. Some products are in Korean version and are made and imported in South Korea, but the packaging and songs are the same.

Korean Fashion Items: Most items are manufactured in Korea. Some are made in China (like most European, Japanese, and American brands, too), but the Korean government is very strict with quality control. Those products wouldn’t be sold in Korea if they weren’t good enough and weren’t able to pass the Korean government’s strict speculation, so expect superior product quality.

3. Is there still a free poster or any pre-order benefits?

Free posters are very limited. They usually go with the pre-released or newly-released albums. It would take around 2-8 weeks for the free posters to be consumed, depending on the artist’s album sales. That’s why it’s better to order the albums early or just within the month that a particular album is released so that you can still have a free poster.

In case you ordered an album from a top idol a month after the album was released, there’s a very slim chance that you’ll get a free poster. Nevertheless, it’s not the poster you’re after. It’s the music cd, the photobook, and the fact that you continue to support your favorite artist.

4. Are the albums sold here registered in the Korean and Japanese music charts?

Album sales of Korean Cravings are counted on the Music Bank, Hanteo Chart, Gaon Charts, and the Oricon Chart (Japan). Buying from Korean Cravings ensures that you pave the way to make your favorite artists and idols climb up to the top of the charts.

5. Can I request products that are not posted on your site?

Yes, we accept requests. Contact Us for requests, and our Korean admin will look for those products.

1. How do I order?

If you wish to order an item, click ADD TO CART. Once you have added all items you want to order, click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT and fill out the details before clicking on PLACE ORDER.

2. How do I pay?

After you place an order, kindly wait for our OFFICIAL INVOICE. This is where we send the payment details and how to pay.

3. Do you have Cash on Delivery option?

We used to do it via Gogo Express, but unfortunately, GGX doesn’t operate pick-ups in Davao anymore.

4. Do you ship to my country / worldwide (e.g. Dubai, Malaysia, Australia, etc.)?

Yes, we ship to over 60 countries worldwide.

5. What is the status of my order?

You may message us on any of our contact channels to know the updates of your order.

6. Can I change my order even after I have placed one?

We change our minds even in just a split second. And that’s what makes us human.

7. Can I cancel my order?

Of course. As mentioned above, we’re humans. However, to be better humans, we should be able to control our impulses. Besides, filling out the order form would be such a waste if you don’t proceed with your order. Remember, time is precious.

However, if you want to cancel or change your order after the pre-order cut-off date and your orders are already on their way here from Korea, you can’t cancel it since it has already been paid for. Please be considerate. The down payment you made is non-refundable.

8. Do you do layaways or Long date of payment (DOP)?

Yes, we do, but it is limited to popular items easily sold to other people (e.g., K-pop albums of the most popular idols in the Philippines). Note that once you’ve paid some of the down payment for the layaway and cancel your order, the down payment will not be refunded.

1. What do you mean by pre-ordering from your shop?

Since we don’t have all items on hand, we do pre-ordering. The pre-order period is a certain time wherein we gather all orders of items still in Seoul or Tokyo to be shipped here in the Philippines.

2. How long do I have to wait for the pre-order period?

Usually, our pre-order period runs for a month or more. Once you place an order and receive the official invoice, you may pay the 50% down payment anytime. The waiting time is determined based on the number of orders that can fill out a box in Korea, but sometimes, there can be delays on the courier, and arrival takes up to more than an expected time, especially during the Holiday season.

3. Is there also a pre-order period for clients outside South Korea and the Philippines?

Our Korean admin is in charge of the orders outside the Philippines, so they’re not included in the pre-orders. However, they should handle the shipping costs from South Korea or Japan to their country.

4. Can I reserve items for pre-order?

Pre-ordering is almost like making a reservation, given that you are pre-ordering or reserving within that particular pre-order batch. If you want to reserve a pre-order item but want to pay after 2 months or in later pre-order batches, then you can’t reserve that item. You may only reserve an item if you are paying the down payment within the current pre-order batch.

5. What if the item/s I pre-ordered suddenly go out of stock?

We encourage our clients to have alternative orders in case some items suddenly go out of stock. However, if you don’t really have an alternative, your down payment will be refunded accordingly.

6. In case the item/s I pre-ordered are out of stock and I don’t have any alternative, how will I be refunded?

Although we prefer refunds via Paypal, BDO, BPI, Gcash, Maya——well, if it really can’t be helped, we are open to other means.

1. Which couriers do you ship to?

We highly recommend J&T Express for domestic delivery because it’s cheaper and as efficient as the other more popular couriers. We ship via Philpost, Korea Post, and Japan Post for international orders.

2. Can you also ship to other couriers aside from the ones listed on your site?

Yes, we do.

3. How long does it take for pre-ordered items to be delivered to me?

After the arrival of the pre-ordered items in our warehouse and when you have already paid in full, expect your orders at your doorstep 2-12 days (depending on your location) after we have shipped them.

4. How long does it take for on-hand items to be delivered to me?

On-hand items will be shipped 12-48 hours after we have received the full payment. They are expected to arrive at your doorstep 2-12 days (depending on your location) after we have shipped them.

5. I’m from outside the Philippines. How long will it take for the ordered items to be delivered to me?

We include the estimated expected time of arrival together with the official invoice of your order/s. The worldwide estimate is 2-25 days, and everything depends on how far your location is from South Korea.

6. After my order/s has been shipped, what time will they arrive?

The estimated time of arrival of your items is during office hours, usually from 9am-5pm. However, even the couriers can’t tell what time exactly they will arrive since it will depend on their delivery system on how many packages they will deliver during the day in a particular location.

7. I might not be in my house when they deliver. What will I do?

As long as there is someone trusted in your house, he or she can claim the package for you upon delivery. However, if your house is empty during delivery time, you may opt to pick-up the package in a branch of the courier that’s nearest to you.

8. What is shipping insurance?

“Shipping insurance is a service of the courier which may reimburse senders whose parcels are lost, stolen, and/or damaged in transit (Wikipedia, 2016).” You may opt for shipping insurance just so that if ever (God forbid) the package gets lost by the shipping courier, they will be able to refund you the total amount you paid for the items. Free items (like free posters) are not included in the insurance, except if you want to assign an amount for them.

*Note that there was NEVER an occurrence of loss or damages from our trusted couriers. However, if you want to insure your packages, go for it if something happens.

9. How much do I need to add for the shipping insurance?

Add P5 for every 500 worth of orders. For example, if the total of your order/s costs P1000, then add P10 to the shipping fee.

10. I’m from Davao City. Do you do meet-ups?

As of this writing, we may do meet-ups, depending on our schedules, so we highly encourage Grab Delivery or other delivery riders for orders within Davao.

11. If both of us are unavailable, can we also pick up our item/s at your office?

Yes, we highly recommend that, especially if you’re just near the Matina premises.
